ABOUT THE COLLECTION
'Inviting shadows' is collection of absctract ceramic wall sculpture.
Each tile is rich with shadows thanks to the variation in texture, shapes and depth. It's an attempt to make them the quiet concern of the piece, not a byproduct. To have it slowly change as the morning light fills the room and then slowly transitions into a harsher noon glare. And then to see it again in an evening mood lighting. And again, in a few months, in a low and lateral December haze.
It includes 4-nature inspired finish options: Undergrowth, Mottled Stone, Dark Terroir, Still Water.
It's the first collection of ceramic wall art by Aneta Elder released in September 2026.
INSTALATION GUIDE
The hanging guide and template is included with each order.
You only need to put the right number of nails in your wall 15cm apart from each other in each direction. Nails are included in the package.
CARE
You can both dust the artwork and wipe it using a damp cloth.
Ceramic art is fragile so please be careful when moving it.

SHIPPING
Shipping is calculated at checkout and ranges from approx. £15-30. All orders are shipped with DHL Express and take up to 2 business days to arrive.
Please note that as I'm a small independent maker that does everything by herself the orders can take up to 5 business days to get dispatched.
RETURNS
I want you to love your ceramics so if you are not satisfied you can return them. As running a small business is incredibly time intensive I can only offer to refund the cost of the goods but not the cost of shipping.
Sculpted by hand
Each piece is hand sculpted by me. Then it's dried, fired, glazed and fired again. The process takes about 1 month.
Each tile is unique
I intuitively build each tile by hand so there will never be two that are the same. There is no template or pattern - just slow craft inspired by nature.
Based in Scotland
My studio is based in Scotland. A lot of my work is inspired by the local landscape.
